Orangutan Foundation Indonesia (Yayasan Orangutan Indonesia -YAYORIN)

Formed in 1992 to address the important education and conservation needs in Indonesia. Comprised of Indonesians who are committed to promoting conservation education and habitat preservation, YAYORIN delivers outreach programs to students of all ages and local inhabitants throughout the region surrounding Tanjung Puting National Park. They also produce a newsletter that is distributed to all the libraries and secondary schools in Indonesia.

Orangutan Foundation United Kingdom

Formed in 1991, the Foundation helps promote awareness of the orangutan and its plight, administers the field volunteer and the veterinarian volunteer programs, and funds a variety of research and conservation activities with OFI in and around Tanjung Puting National Park.
